Ernest J. Gaines Award for Literary Excellence

The Ernest J. Gaines Award for Literary Excellence recognizes rising African-American fiction writers of excellence at a national level. The work of fiction (novel or collection of short stories) that must be published between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
